No worries, Riley has not died or anything…I’m calling her the “angel dog” because her aunt, Chloe, is being “Lucifur, the devil dog” while she’s on crate rest and Riley’s been soooo good throughout this two week ordeal. Hopefully today is the last day of crate rest. Chloe’s follow-up appointment and staple removal is tomorrow at 8:45 AM and we’re hoping that she gets cleared to stay out of the crate, climb stairs, jump on the furniture, and can run around like a dog again.
We have been giving Chloe “Busy Bones” while she’s in the crate and she hasn’t touched them…we gave her a stuffed Kong today and she didn’t touch it either. Then she had the nerve to go into the crate and get it out while she was tethered to the table during dinner. It kept her occupied during dinner, so I guess that’s one good thing that came out of it!
I have no pictures of Chloe today, just of Riley. We’re banished upstairs to my bedroom and Chloe is on the couch with my mom.

Ours will lay in the sunshine, too, almost to the point where I think they must be roasting, but they seem to love it. It's one of those mysteries we'll never understand, I guess!
