The Sentence Has Been Served

Chloe is officially off of crate rest, which means that Riley and I are officially off of house arrest!  Chloe’s follow-up/staples removal appointment was this morning.  The surgeon said her incisions looked good and that she was free to do whatever she wants to now…run, jump, climb stairs, etc.  It has been a whole heck of a lot quieter around here today!

I just tried calling the vet to schedule Riley’s wellness exam and vaccinations but I didn’t get an answer…means they must be really busy.  So I just got to use Riley’s online “Pet Portal” to request an appointment at the vet and should hear back sometime today or tomorrow about it.  She’s not due for it until May 25th, but I want to get it done in the end of April or beginning of May so I have time to get her updated health form in to Therapy Dogs International.

  7. Hip hip hooray!!! We bet the silence is quite welcome:) We know how happy Chloe and Riley must be. But it might not be a bad idea to have Chloe go in that crate for a very short time every day, like five minutes at a time. You never know, she might actually learn to love it.Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  11. Nows dat is some happy news fur…everybuddy…hehehe…not just Chloe. Her is gonna way more happier!I has nevers heard of a pet portal. Our Vet don't do appointments…everybuddy is a walk-in.Puddles

  21. First, thanks for the Gotcha Day wishes; and second, we just got one of those pet portal things and I love it!! All the vaccines and dates are in there, all the meds, you can get refills — it's great!!So glad Chloe is BACK!!
