K9 Kamp–Just One Doggone Minute to Win It!

We had some fun this week with Koly and Kelly’s K9 Kamp challenge #3!  The challenge was a Minute to Win It type thing, so games you can play a few minutes a day with your dog to help you both stay in shape.
The first thing we did was play tug…Riley, like all of your dogs, probably, gives me a good workout when we play tug!  She throws all 51 pounds into it and requires me to throw all–ahem–well, all of my pounds into it as well!  I got a good muscular workout playing with her–and I even won a few times!!

Right after this, I actually won this game of tug!  A miracle!
The other game we played a few times this week is one of my favorite games to play with Riley.  I make her stay downstairs and I run upstairs and hide somewhere from Riley and then I call her and she has to come find me.  It’s fun to see her run past me and not be able to find me, then I see her gears turning and she finds me–eventually.  Then she gets SO excited to find me!  Jumps all over me and licks my face.  Too cute and lots of fun.

 She finally found me!

 Giving kisses…

More kisses!
Overall, we had a good week playing games for a few minutes at a time!  How did you all do?  Oh, and by the way, today is my BIRTHDAY!  🙂

  3. Happy belated birthday! I love the game you guys played with the stairs. That's a pretty good idea. Desmond is slightly insane though and always just BARRELS up and down the stairs, so I wonder what he would do if I encouraged him… Usually I tell him to take it slower! 🙂
