Snow Day

Well, Riley has gotten to enjoy herself for a few minutes out in the snow today even though she’s on crate rest. I’ve had to take her out on the leash so she wouldn’t go run in the backyard. She protested a little bit this morning about having to stay in her crate (we’re on day 3 of crate rest) but settled down after a few hours. We have about 7 inches of snow now and it’s supposed to keep coming down until early tomorrow morning. Riley loves the snow! She loves to stick her nose and head down in it and try to eat it. She doesn’t seem to act like the cold is too much for her sore joints!
