Puddles D. Rainwater should enjoy this! Riley went actual tracking (not UPS computer tracking) on her own in the backyard tonight. And she caught herself a bird! (We must have some stupid/slow birds around here because this is her third one she’s gotten!).

If it makes you feel any better, three of my ACDs LOVE to catch birds… even though two of them are blind (2yrs old & 3yrs old). Last summer, one of my blind girls caught(and yuck!)ate a small rabbit and also caught a baby raccoon (RIP). Maybe we need to get some cows for them to herd! LOL

LOL, Koly looooves to hunt birds in the yard. Our birds must not be as dull, since he never catches one.

My Blueberry hasn't caught a bird yet – but she does try. Her main focus is on the rascally squirrel that hangs around. Plus – there is a new animal tunnel in the yard (I have no idea where all the dirt went so I cannot fill it and don't really have the heart to since Blueberry likes to investigate it each day) that she loves sticking her head into to search for whatever uses it.
