Hide and Seek…and Sleep!

I’ve mentioned before about how Riley likes to hide things in our house.  She’ll hide something in a corner and then rub her nose along the carpet to try to “cover it up” with dirt.  I don’t think she realizes that it doesn’t actually cover it up, but whatever.  To each his own.  Or her own in this case.

I found my mom’s sock in the corner the other day.  Grandma thought it was a mouse at first–ha ha!

Ignore all our wires back there…luckily our dogs don’t bother them.  And that paver is there from when Riley was a puppy (yes, almost 4 years ago) and would try to pull up the corner of the carpet.
Boy, hiding socks takes it right out of you!  Two passed out puppies (and a sleeping baby in her swing in the other room).

  1. My Cairo used to try and cover things, your comment brought back so many memories! I wonder why Riley takes the socks, but then, why do mine take shoes and boots?! (at least it doesn't look like a mouse!)

  3. My Riley suggested trying to hide the socks under things like a coffee table, ottoman, or sofa. Then it gets buried for you! 'Course, you probably won't be able to get it later…Remus got very jealous when he saw where Chloe was sleeping. He's not allowed up there.~B~

Riley loves hearing from her friends!
