Riley is always willing and able to lend a paw in the kitchen or dining room…a little too willing. She’s reached straight up stalker status as of now.
She doesn’t get table food and if she does, it’s when we’re all done eating and we put it in her food bowl. Well, I think Grandma slips her food from the kitchen when I’m not looking, but we try to curb it.
As we were eating dinner the other night, I noticed we had a creeper nearby… Take a look for yourself:
The evidence proves it…Riley is guilty as charged. I may take out an order of protection from her during meal time so she can’t stalk me.
Luckily, she doesn’t whine or beg for food, she just watches intently until someone drops some food off of their fork and into their lap and she swoops in for the kill!

Uh oh Riley…now there is proof! At our house, we've always called that behavior silent begging. (and it's not allowed) It's interesting though that blind Hiker is the worst. Every morning while I have coffee and toast with peanut butter, there she sits, "staring" at me! Dinner looks like it was yummy!
