Some of you have asked what exactly Riley does to stay occupied in the crate…here’s a post about what she does. Mainly she just sleeps or lies down contentedly, but she also likes to chew on her Nylabone and a new antler I got her. She has a red “indestructible” KONG toy that she plays with some of the time. She gets some petting through the bars of the crate and even gets out once a day for heat/ice and physical therapy.
And she likes to go in and out, in and out, in and out…to pee and poop. Most of the time she doesn’t really have to go, she just wants to stretch her legs, but she manages to muster up a pee every time she goes out, so it isn’t a wasted trip. I don’t know how she can pee on command every single time, but hey, I won’t complain. When she really has to go poop, she creates a royal fuss in the crate, whining, scratching, and barking.

I have not yet tried those antlers. I heard the ones in the store are not that great and the good ones are a little pricey and have to be ordered on line. Where do you get yours from if you don't mind my asking?Sounds like Riley has plenty to keep her busy. I'm sure giving you the stink eye takes up most of her time. 😉
