Riley continues to do better and better. We’re weaning down her pain pills some and she seems to be tolerating that just fine. She doesn’t appear to be in any pain, with or without her pain pills. She’s walking normally with no limp and is wanting to “trot” when she goes outside on the leash! I have to rein her in! She gets her staples removed a week from today. I think her doctor is going to be very impressed with how well she’s doing. She’s already getting restless in the crate, as you could imagine. It’ll be a struggle keeping her occupied in there for 6 weeks and 6 more days!

She looks very perky and would probably love to run a marathon right now if you let her! Just think – after all this – you can write a book on how to entertain a dog for 8 weeks while he/she is on bed rest!
