Hurricane Sandy has been putting a damper on things around here…but I got word that Riley’s surgery is still on schedule for tomorrow. That’s good because we’re ready to get this over with! The way we figured it up is that Riley will get off of crate rest on Christmas Day! How exciting is that??
So I will drop my sweet girl off between 8:00 and 8:30 tomorrow morning and I’m not sure what time her surgery will be. Hopefully she’ll be the first or second surgery of the day. I’ll try to remember to ask what time it will be when I drop her off. Unfortunately, it’s supposed to still be raining from the hurricane tomorrow morning when I drop her off, so we’ll get all wet. The good news is that when I pick her up on Wednesday, it’s not supposed to rain, so we should be nice and dry. Let them deal with her in the rain, not me!! 🙂
Here’s hoping that the surgery goes as planned and that her recovery is just as good as last year’s was!!
