My dad took Chloe to get her chest X-ray on Monday. The vet said she saw some nodules on her lungs, so we were afraid the tumor had spread. She sent off the X-rays to the radiologist and we got a call back last night that the spots were “unremarkable” so she can go ahead and have her surgery to get the mass on her spleen removed and the polyp in her bladder removed. She’s scheduled for surgery on Friday at our regular vet’s office.
I imagine that we’re going to have quite a time trying to keep Riley and Chloe from playing after Chloe’s surgery. Chloe does not tolerate being crated…she whines, and barks, and scratches, and bites the bars and gets all worked up and doesn’t rest. She has actually broken two of her canine teeth by biting on the bars of a kennel and had to get doggy root canals on both! So I assume we’ll probably keep Chloe upstairs and let her rest and keep Riley downstairs…who knows. Of course, if Chloe wears an Elizabethan collar, Riley will be scared of it and probably won’t go near her because she’s just quirky like that!
My induction ceremony for the honor society is tomorrow night, so I’m off to find some shoes to wear to it! Sorry I had no pictures for this post!!
