Pretty Paws

Riley must know I’m sick because she has been SO good lately.  The good news is that I feel like I’m finally starting to kick this cold.  A friend of mine said her dad has had this same type thing for 2 weeks now.  Luckily it doesn’t look like mine’s going to stick around for that long (hopefully!).  Thanks for all the well wishes, they are definitely helping!

And here’s a picture of Riley’s trimmed (by me!) nails.  I realized that I cut them at the wrong angle…like 135 degrees instead of 45 degrees.  Oh well, now I know for next time and it didn’t/isn’t bothering her at all.

This is honestly about as long as they get.  I realize I’m incredibly lucky that she wears hers down naturally and that they don’t grow fast!

I called the vet today to get a refill of Riley’s Rimadyl for her hips and it felt good to not have to schedule a nail trim at the same time!  Yesterday was Heartguard and Frontline day and I used the last tube of Frontline I had so I have to pick up some more when I go get her Rimadyl.
