This year I paid off my car…and last night I hit, GULP, 100,000 miles. I hope this doesn’t mean it’s dying on me anytime soon. I have a 2004 Pontiac Vibe and I love it!
Note–this picture was not taken while driving! And it was 60 degrees…
Today I went with my parents to a dog-unfriendly Town Center. My friend was walking her dog there one day and they told her she had to leave because dogs weren’t allowed. Poo. Anyway, it was all decorated up for Christmas, fake snow and all.
We have had multiple cars over that 100k mark, so have no fears. Well maintained, it should have no unusual problems. But as for town centers that do not allow dogs, life is simple for us. We do not go to them.
Cars made after 2000 are designed to go well over 100K. 100K is just so ingrained in our heads from growing up with cars that didn't last that long!
100,000 miles – that's a lot of traveling. If you take good care of your car, it should be good for a while yet.Pretty setting at that Town Center but poo on them for not letting dogs come too.Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
The truck i just took cross country has over 100,000 miles. I hope it goes cross country a few more times before I need to start worrying!I'm ignoring all things Christmas, at least, until after Thanksgiving! Most especially things that don't allow dogs!
Hey, look, another reason I can hate PTC! Be sure to go to their website and tell them that's another reason why other outdoor malls are better.Signed,Grumpy Baddy that overall hates Peninsula Town Center.
My poppa had one car that is over 100 K. Yeah!Chewy
Congratulations on a 100,000 miles, I feel like I ran that far at Flyball yesterday at the moment ;-)Wizz
haha Congrats on the 100k.. I remember that in my car recently! Mine is running just fine over 100k :)Great picture of you!
Congratulations on paying off your car! That's a huge milestone. It's too bad dogs aren't allowed there as it looks like a beautiful space.
Now that is a lot of miles.. Dad finally got a new truck after his old GMC turned over 269,000 but he did spend almost every weekend working on it.. We think he might have been a bit depressed when he got the new one. Nothing to entertain the kid in him on the weekends.. He is working on an old Mustang now so he is in heaven. Nice and dirty.. hehe Yepper that Riley is just beautiful…Big Sloppy KissesGus, Louie and Callie
HEY I have a pontiac vibe too and love it. And mom paid it off this year too! But we are not close to 100,000. Stupid town rules. It looked pretty thoughnorwood
Congrats on no more car payments! Crossing paws for you, car should hold up. And "poo" is right!
